The children benefit from a range of after school clubs.  A termly art week supports the development of a range of creative skills.  The children enjoy a range of live performances.  Each term the children support a charity and this helps broaden their understanding of the wider world.  Many children have monitoring responsibilities such as playtime buddies and lunchtime helpers; these duties help boost self esteem and confidence.  Pupils participate in local trips and ones further afield and these visits enhance learning.  Pupils support local events such as the town carnival and the year two music festival.  We are fortunate to have links with many groups who visit school regularly to talk about their work/hobbies, e.g. guide dog trainers, members from faith groups and the Ivo School Entomology Society.
