Each year we aim to improve a few areas. Last year we were delighted to introduce increased residential experiences which you can read more about on the class pages. We also improved our national and international links resulting in the British Council Full International Award. Currently we are enhancing our teaching and learning to bring all this up to the good and outstanding standards evident in much of the school. The children are helping to redesign the outdoor spaces to make them more interesting and we are aiming to achieve a science award by demonstrating good practice throughout the school. The homework is set each Friday, and is collected in on the following Friday. This consists of spellings each week, and a piece of either Literacy or Numeracy. Our Teaching staff all take special interests in developing areas within the school.

Water gardens have a striking effect on any landscape, converting any outdoor space into a paradise that can attract birds and other animals. Garden landscaping is a very creative work which includes the decoration of land by planting trees, bushes, and flowering shrubs. Landscape gardening comes from the informal style of gardening that was popular among the British elite in the eighteenth century. Landscape gardening refers to the design of enclosed outdoor spaces like private gardens and parks. A garden landscape can also include a number of hard landscape features, such as walkways, paving, concrete, sculpture, stonework, pergolas, decks, fences, garden furniture, ponds, waterfalls, streams, and birdbaths. In Liverpool arbours and trellises are two items that are commonly used to support climbing plants.
