The aim of this group is to provide support to carers of people with mental health problems. The group share experiences and have access to information via speakers and publications. An active friendly group offering a warm welcome to all who wish to attend. The group apply for funding from Carers Grant (small) which they use for outings. Most months a speaker is invited. Topics have included IMCA and Advocacy. Some of the group are involved in their capacity as carers, with meetings organised by the PCT.
