We consider that our school is a very happy and dynamic place to learn in. Our staff work extremely hard to achieve excellent standards of teaching and learning and continually review and reflect on their work in order to meet the needs of each individual. The children had discussions in their classrooms about what these words meant to them in school. Each class developed lists of what they thought were the most important rights and responsibilities for them. The school council spent quite a lot of time discussing them all and coming up with 10 Rights and 10 Responsibilities for the whole school. They then delivered an assembly to present them to the rest of the school. We are committed to providing a caring, friendly and safe environment for all of our pupils so they can learn in a relaxed and secure atmosphere.

Findern School has occupied its current site since 1923 when it was built to serve the rural communities of Findern, Stenson and Twyford. At that time the three villages were of a similar size but, as time went by, Findern grew rapidly towards the west whilst Stenson and Twyford retained their original size and character, leaving the school in its unusual rather isolated location. A number of extensions were added to the building during the 1930’s, 1970’s and 1980’s to provide accommodation for as many as 200 local children. At present we have approximately 123 children on roll. Throughout all these years the school, in partnership with parents, has made every effort to maintain and improve its educational provision with a traditional emphasis upon providing a foundation in basic subjects.

Gateford Park Primary School is set in the middle of the large new housing development of Gateford Park, to the north of Worksop.Our school was built in April 2000. On our very first day we only had 23 pupils! Since we opened in 2000 our roll has grown from 38 to over 215. Over time there have been a number of additions to the original school building. Glebelands is a popular school serving the Glebelands and Thurcaston Park areas of North West Leicester, with many children travelling to the school from a much wider area. The school opened in 1997 and now has approximately 270 children between the ages of 3 and 11. We provide a broad and balanced curriculum where children are supported, encouraged and challenged Staff provide a stimulating working environment with imaginative teaching. The school was opened on the 3rd of September 1970. The first head teacher was Mr Benton. Back then the children came to school by bus. There were 147 children when the school was opened and now there are 456. The most children that there ever was on the school register was 486. On the first day there was one small disaster, the potato peeling machine broke down! The school was built on the old Martlesham airfield near the control tower where Douglas Bader flew from. The rocket on the adventure playground was an old fuel tank from his plane. When the school was first built the uniform was bright yellow but now it is navy blue. The new nursery opened in September 2006 and has places for 52 children. The nursery is part of the new building, which was built for Key stage 1 and was finished in May 2006. School Times: Morning 9:00 - 12:05; Afternoon 1:20 - 3:30. Nursery: Morning Session 9:00 - 11:30; Afternoon Session 1:00 - 3:30.
Grange Primary School has achieved many awards which include –the Basic Skills Quality Mark, Sports Active Mark, Artsmark Gold. ‘ Grange is a good school, leadership and management are outstanding, it provides good value for money.’ Parents are overwhelmingly supportive of the school and comment very favourably about the progress their children make.
Unlike some authorities, Staffordshire does not make a blanket decision to close all schools due to inclement weather. The decision to close a school is made by the Headteacher in agreement with the Chair of Governors. They have to determine whether children and staff can travel safely to and from school and if the site will remain safe throughout the day.

Hampton Vale Primary School, we aspire to make a tangible, positive difference to the community of Hampton Vale and to society in general. The school is situated in the southern part of Peterborough on a new housing development. We are minutes away from the centre of Peterborough and within an easy drive to Cambridge, Huntingdon and Stamford. The area is within commuting distance of London. Children are drawn predominantly from the residential neighbourhoods of Hampton Vale and Hampton Hargate, with a few children out of the catchment area. The school was built in 2004 in two building phases. We have substantial outdoor areas and two beautiful courtyards that support our curriculum provision. Each year group has their own entrance, cloakroom and toilet area.
The school is situated in the suburb of Hangleton on the outskirts of the city of Brighton and Hove. It has been serving the local community for over 50 years.
