Gallery 5 is an informal waterside gallery and working studio based in the heart of Salcombe in South Devon originally established in 2007 by John Aspden. The gallery features an eclectic and creative display of work by local and visiting artists and specialises in highly original and imaginative images, often with a particular flavour of the sea. There are also many beautiful and unusual pieces of driftwood art available.
In the beginning, there was a regional footwear importer and distributor based in Woodbury in East Devon. The company had traded for over 100 years before being bought by Henry Fulls in 1974 who ran it with his wife Jenny. They are still very much involved in the company today, Henry as Chairman and Jenny as Company Secretary. Formed in 1997, Moshulu was the brainchild of Henry and Jenny's three sons: Daryl, Neal and Shaun, who, having been involved in the business for most of their lives, decided that shoes needed to be a bit more interesting - and so Moshulu Colours was born.
