The school curriculum is designed to enable all children to succeed. It incorporates drama, modern foreign languages, Music (both singing and peripatetic lessons) and a strong sporting influence. Sport is highly valued with Active Mark 2008 recently awarded and coaching from outside agencies, including tag rugby, football, break dancing and tennis. There is a varied menu of extra curricular activities on offer. The school has a significant number of children learning to play a musical instrument with all children in the middle juniors taking part in the “wider opportunities” initiative where all children in the class are learning to play guitar. In addition to the above the children participate in many educational trips or visitors coming to the school and years 5 & 6 take part in a residential activity too.
