There is a dedicated Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team for your area. In all there are 106 such teams in Surrey, each helping to keep the county safe and sound. Surrey Police is dedicated to providing neighbourhood policing for your area. As a result of the substantial savings that Surrey Police has made through the closure of un-economic police buildings and collocation with local authorities we have been able to recruit more proactive police officers. With over 16 years service in the police force, I am truly passionate about the value and contribution police officers, in partnership with other agencies and the public, bring to policing in this County.
Opening hours: 8:45am-5pm Monday – Friday. By putting the Surrey Public First, we are putting our resources and efforts into those things that matter to you and enabling you to influence what we spend our time on. The Pledge focuses on the visible services rather than the hidden work we do on issues such as organised crime or protecting vulnerable victims. We will ensure your Neighbourhood Policing Team and other police patrols are visible and on your patch at times when they will be most effective and when you tell us you most need them. We will ensure your team are not taken away from neighbourhood business more than is absolutely necessary. They will spend at least 80% of their time visibly working in your neighbourhood, tackling your priorities. Neighbourhood officers will spend at least two years working in your area.

Regular neighbourhood patrols and close co-operation with housing associations allow warning letters and eviction orders to be issued to tenants causing problems at individual addresses and in the town centre. Curfews, restraining orders and anti-social behaviour orders (ASBOs) are used specifically to deal with persistent offenders known to police.
