Affinity Healthcare Forensic Low Secure Services provide secure inpatient interventions for both men and women who become mentally ill whilst within the criminal justice system. We also provide comprehensive, robust and timely assessments as requested by courts and diversion schemes. The treatment of offenders is currently provided from the comprehensive and well established range of secure services at both Cheadle Royal Hospital and Middleton St George Hospital has recently opeened a brand new designated forensic low secure service based on Linden Unit. Care pathways have been structured to meet the policy needs of both mental health services and the National Offender Management Service (NOMS). The highly skilled multidisciplinary team provide for both the mental health needs of the clients and also their criminogenic needs.
