Entrance to the park is via Botanic Avenue, Stranmillis Embankment and University Road. Take any Metro no. 8 and get off at Queen's University. You can also take Metro no.7 and get off at College Park. If you are walking to the park from Belfast City Hall, go along Bedford Street, Dublin Road and University Road and follow the signposts. All our parks open at 7.30am daily. Closing times vary according to the time of year.

The population of the school is representative of a large number of ethnic groups, the largest of which are Afro-Caribbean and African. Other groups from Latin America, Europe including White British, Asia and the Indian sub-continent are also well represented. A large proportion of the pupils have English as an additional language and over 30 languages are represented. The school occupies four buildings on the same site. The largest of these buildings is the KS2 building which was built in 1884. In addition to eight classrooms and the administrative offices, this building has a Computer suite, a Music room, a Library and a Science room. Years 2 to 5 are based here. The key stage 1 building was built in the 1960s. It houses a self-contained Nursery plus Reception and Year 1 classes. This building also has a hall, the kitchen, a Family Learning Centre and various offices.
Our children enjoy a wide range of learning opportunities. These include sporting activities such as football, netball, badminton, tennis, cricket and rounders. The lunch time play leader provides additional PE during lunchtimes. Children can take part in recorder playing and a craft club and the annual residential visit is hugely popular. Pupils are taught to cycle properly and safely and are encouraged to cycle to school.All pupils take part in the Christmas show and junior children enjoy inter generational visits at local centres at Christmas time. Musicians, dancers and storytellers add opportunities for our children, as do theme weeks and visits to support curriculum topics.Tennis and athletics coaches are employed to provide high quality sports teaching for our children.

Hampton Vale Primary School, we aspire to make a tangible, positive difference to the community of Hampton Vale and to society in general. The school is situated in the southern part of Peterborough on a new housing development. We are minutes away from the centre of Peterborough and within an easy drive to Cambridge, Huntingdon and Stamford. The area is within commuting distance of London. The school was built in 2004 in two building phases. We have substantial outdoor areas and two beautiful courtyards that support our curriculum provision.
