Osteopaths are concerned with helping to improve the mechanical efficiency of the body in order to aid all body processes to reach their best potential. Health problems can be caused by a number of factors including environmental, nutritional, bacterial or viral organisms, allergies etc. However when the body is mechanically more sound it can deal with outside influences more effectively. We deal with a variety of health problems including back, neck, joint pain including sports injuries and whiplash. We are Coventry's first centre for Power Assisted Micro-Manipulation (Theraflex), which is a gentle 21st century solution to dealing with spinal problems and underlying back pain. P.A.M treatment is particularly helpful for those with very chronic back problems associated with marked rigidity and stiffness of the back.
The ESO has a world-class reputation for a high standard of teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and prides itself on its international links, attracting lecturers from all over the world. More than 20 different nationalities are currently represented at the school, with students from nearly 30 different countries graduating since the school began.
