It is situated in the Borough of Blackburn with Darwen, with easy access to the motorways and to Manchester. There are 285 pupils, 16 of whom, are hearing impaired. The school has resoured provision for the hearing impaired. With 40 staff this school is both well resourced and well placed to continue to improve.
