Sail 4 Cancer takes cancer patients and their families away from cancer and the nightmare that they are living through.

Who are we? We are a team working across the whole of West Berkshire. We work with young people up to the age of 21 and their families/carers who are affected by drugs or alcohol.

Whatever role you take with us you'll be making a difference in the fight against heart disease.Our retail division is managed from our office in Claygate. We offer a range of retail and support opportunities in our shops across the UK, as well as office based opportunities.

Home-Start West Berkshire employs 3 part-time organisers, a part-time Administrator, a part-time play-worker and a part-time cook. We have currently approximately 40-45 volunteers, supporting up to 60 families at any one time. To complement the home-visiting service two Family Groups have been set up for families to meet together for moral support. The Scheme is managed by a Trustee Board of representatives from local statutory and voluntary agencies, representatives of the volunteers, and independent members. The Scheme covers the many rural communities in West Berkshire, including but not limited to; Hungerford, Lambourne, Kintbury, Aldermaston, Burghfield, Theale, Pangbourne, Compton and The Ilsleys.
