We run many clinics for chronic disease care and offer a wide variety of other medical services such as antenatal and postnatal care, minor surgery, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups. All children should be fully protected and we aim to make it very easy for parents to attend. You will normally receive appointments from Central Clinic to attend the surgery for immunisations. If this is not suitable please make an appointment during normal hours with a Practice Nurse.

In line with Government Access targets, we aim to offer patients a routine appointment with a GP within 48 working hours, or a Health Professional within 24 hours. A health professional could be a nurse, a health care worker, a pharmacist, etc. Our system allows for flexible booking.

If possible please try to telephone reception before 10am if you require a home visit. A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to send a nurse, or indeed arrange a hospital attendance. House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability. Please remember that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time that it takes to make one home visit. There are also better facilities for examining and treating patients at the Health Centre. Access for disabled persons is through the double doors at the main entrance or at the specially adapted entrance at the back of the health centre. All services provided by the health centre are on ground floor level and are clearly signposted. There is disabled parking space to the rear of the building.
