I believe it is the highest privilege to be given the opportunity to teach your children; young minds are eager to learn and explore the world around them. I am constantly surprised and delighted by the ideas and insights that your children choose to share with me. Children have just one chance to grow and learn; their time at school is precious. They deserve to enjoy their learning in a positive, safe and caring environment. I will constantly strive to ensure your child maintains and develops the love of learning which all children are born with. I will, through calmness, firmness and by taking time to listen, strive to ensure your child learns to be calm, thoughtful and caring.
They aim to provide a community which will enable all who belong to make the most of their abilities and be happy. We work particularly hard to help our students gain academic knowledge, learn practical skills and develop their power to reason. But we also try to promote learning in many other aspects of life, social, moral, spiritual, aesthetic and physical. We seek to achieve our objectives within a broad and balanced framework that gives a central place to the National Curriculum. We want our students to be keen to learn and to be able to concentrate their minds on a task. We want them to respect accuracy; to be able to handle numbers with confidence and to express themselves effectively in speech and writing. We want them to be confident in their use of modern technology. They should be able to solve problems, look for evidence, consider both sides of a question and think independently. They should be able to work effectively either as an individual or as a member of a group.

We place great emphasis on the need for each child to develop the skills to be confident, adaptable, independent and self disciplined learners within a learning environment that celebrates success, promotes thinking and enables children to feel happy and secure.
