On this occasion the whole Institute was returned as part of UCL's submission to Unit of Assessment 4, which scored extremely highly with 40% of investigators ranked 4* (world-leading) together with a further 30% ranked as internationally excellent. Our Tooting campus is a modern building, opened in 2000, conveniently located in Tooting High Street above the Sainsbury's store, right next to Tooting Broadway tube station. The campus has a Learning Resource Centre equipped with modern technology, a student common room and on-site childcare facilities. It is fully accessible for wheelchair users. Courses are mainly for adults and include Higher Education in Business and Computing (university level courses) for both Home/EU as well as International students, Business and Professional courses for adults, ESOL, English for International Students (part-time), Skills for Life courses (Basic Skills in English and Maths) and a number of part-time day/evening and short courses including keep fit, book-keeping, counselling, modern foreign languages and a range of arts and crafts courses.
We are very glad you are interested in our school. You will see from our site that we are a special school for children with a diagnosis of autism. We are an all-age school, having recently opened a secondary department in September 2009 Currently we are all housed in one building in Clancarty road, Fulham but from September 2010 the secondary department will be on a new site. Within the next few years we shall be moving to a new, purpose-built school that will house nursery, primary and secondary departments, funded by the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham through the Building Schools for the Future programme. We are therefore entering a very exciting phase in our development.
