CASA design is pleased to present the successful realization of several recent residential projects in Ayrshire as illustrated on the gallery pages within this website. Chris Stewart of CASA design was asked along by the ‘Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland’ as a guest architect at the recent ‘Homes and Interiors Scotland 2006 Exhibition’ at the SECC in Glasgow and hopes to follow this up with a further appearance the 2007 exhibition. CASA design are, once again, participating in the ‘Architect in the House’ scheme organized by the RIAS each year. This scheme allows home owners to be matched with a RIBA registered chartered architect for an hour’s consultation on design improvements to their home. In return, the home-owner makes a small donation to Shelter, the housing and homeless charity.

NOMAD Homeless Advice and Support Unit is an independent organisation which offers advice, support and practical help to homeless or inadequately housed people, or those in housing need. NOMAD believes that everyone has the right to a decent, safe and affordable home. NOMAD was formed in 1989 by two people who had experienced homelessness themselves, and who recognised that there was a gap in the provision of services for homeless people in Sheffield and Rotherham. Today, NOMAD is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee, and is funded by grants from national and local bodies and by donations raised through general fund-raising efforts. We have a range of different projects, providing a variety of services in Sheffield.

HAMPSHIRE, PO16 7XU FAREHAM, ASPECT HOUSE, WESTBURY ROADIn the last 12 months the Basics Bank has provided over 700 food parcels, feeding more than 1, 500 people. Each parcel provides food for a week for people in crisis. Many parcels also include items such as toiletries and nappies. We also keep a small stock of clothing and blankets. The service is accessed through over 25 agencies in this area that come into contact with people that are likely to require assistance, such as Health Visitors, Probation Service, Social Services, Job Centre Plus, Council Housing offices, Fareham and Gosport Family Aid, homeless charities, etc. People may access the service through one of the many referral agencies in the Fareham and Gosport area up to four times in one year.
