Hertfordshires Premier Clay Shooting Ground occupies a 15 acre site near the county town of Hertford T. The Shooting Association is over 30 years old, and has occupied this site at Hertford for over a quarter of a century. The club itself has over 250 members, many of whom represent their Club, County and Country in shooting competitions.

The Georgian Facade of the White Horse actually belies a much older interior with oak beams dating back from 400 years. However, this comfortable hotel has recently undergone a total refurbishment and now offers all modern facilities at a very high standard.

Lea Valley Shooting Association is Hertfordshires Premier Clay Shooting Ground. Established in 1970, it occupies a purpose-built site just outside Hertford town with 10 different shooting arenas. There are several covered shooting points for the comfort of guests in poor weather. Ample car parking and a clubhouse with toilets and refreshments. Fully insured and affiliated to the CPSA, the Shooting School is open Tuesday - Saturday 10 - 4 for lessons for individuals and groups. Learn to shoot in safe and experienced hands, suitable for men and women of all ages to learn an Olympic sport.
