The Thoroughbred Rehabilitation Centre (TRC) is the original horse charity dedicated to racehorse welfare, ex-racehorse retraining and ex-racehorse rehoming. The TRC specialises in the rehoming of racehorses to suitable loan homes. The TRC is able to offer schooling liveries at the Centre in Lancashire. First of all you and your horse will undergo an initial assessment to determine which areas need working on. Our trained staff will then devise a programme of work in one week blocks to follow for the duration of the livery. The TRC provides ideal facilities for you to retire your horse with confidence. The TRC offers round the clock care by experienced and trained staff to tend to your horse during illness or after injury. This would include use of our oval horsewalker and access to regular veterinary assessments, physiotherapy and equine pool.
