North Kesteven School co-operates with Robert Pattinson School in providing access to all post 16 courses provided by the two schools. Applications will be considered from students already in attendance at the school as well as those wishing to transfer from other institutions. All students seeking entry to the Sixth Form will be treated individually, although the prime consideration will be the suitability and availability of the courses provided by the school for the student in question. Students from other educational establishments are welcome to join the North Hykeham Joint Sixth Form.

Northfield Manor Primary School was opened in 1962 on part of the Bournville Estate, just behind the Manor House of Manor Park. It is the only school in Weoley Hill. This large primary school with Nursery provides various extended services to support families and the local community. Many families in the area experience considerable social and economic disadvantage. Free school meal eligibility is high as is pupil turnover, and there are several refugees or asylum seekers. Redhill Primary School is a Foundation primary school situated in its own grounds on The Ridings. There are two playgrounds, an excellent playing field and pleasant grounds that include an adventure trail, adventure climbing frame, organic garden, nature area and pond, used by the children as part of their science lessons. We like to involve the children in looking for ways to improve our school environment. The building, first opened in 1969 has seven large classrooms, a new Jubilee library (built October 2002) an I.T. suite in addition to a modern administration block. Junior and infant blocks adjoin a hall that is used as a dining room, for assemblies, as a concert auditorium and for Physical Education lessons. The school is also fortunate to have a modern kiln in the junior activity area. The main entrances for children are at the side of the junior block and from the rear of the Year 2 classroom while at the front of the school is the Visitors Entrance.

The ROC Refuge provides a safe and supportive environment to young people who have run away from their home base, whether the family home or alternative accommodation. Young people are provided with time out to reflect on their situation and the opportunity to begin working towards the identification of problematic areas in their life and begin the process of change. On leaving ROC Refuge, young people are offered ongoing community based support by the ROC Outreach Team.
