The Young Persons Service is a confidential service offering a range of individualised therapeutic interventions for young people. They offer support and advice to families and carers. They support young people under the age of 19 throughout West Kent and Medway which cover the following towns and surrounding areas; Medway, Dartford, Gravesend, Swanley, Swale, Sheerness, Maidstone Sittingbourne, Tonbridge, and Tunbridge Wells. The central task of the service is to identify those young people whose use of drugs and alcohol has contributed to complex health and social problems and to jointly work with the young person, family or carers and key agencies to help them overcome their difficulties.
