Its objects are, broadly, to promote and further the craft of beekeeping, to advance the education of the public in the importance of bees in the environment, to promote and further the conservation of honeybees and other native pollinators, to improve the standard of small-scale honey production, and to foster co-operation between beekeepers. Our programme covers a range of educational and social activities based on monthly indoor meetings, generally at the Stratford-upon-Avon College or St Gregory’s Priory during the winter months, and more frequent practical events during the active season, usually at the Association’s apiary in the Warwickshire wildlife reserve at Hampton Wood, Hampton Lucy.
