We are long-established dental practice in the heart of Cramlington in South East Northumberland offering family dental care in a warm and welcoming environment. From a new and purpose-built building, the practice offers a complete spectrum of treatment needs to maintain dental health and care for your smile. As part of this care, we can undertake a variety of cosmetic options from white fillings to tooth whitening, from dentures to precision bridges to replace missing teeth. We can also arrange implants where these are appropriate. Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 1pm; 2pm - 5pm.

Cramlington Dental Practice is a family dental practice based in the centre of Cramlington in the north east of England. Your first visit will consist of a checkup. In order to formulate a proper treatment plan we would examine your mouth, including the gums and soft tissues and put together a plan of action for future visits. If appropriate, we'll do XRays, either immediately or on a separate aappointment to aid diagnosis.Nearly all patients with one or more standing teeth benefit from a good cleanup. This may vary from a single scale and polish to an extended course of gum (periodontal) treatments with the Hygienist - depending upon the state of your mouth and how it is since you've had a cleanup. If a tooth is badly broken down or if it has been root-filled, you may be advised that the tooth should be crowned. A crown, commonly known as a "cap" is a metal or porcelain thimble that completely envelopes a tooth, restoring it to its original shape and looking just like the original.

Richard Grant is the founder and senior dentist having started the Practice in August 1972. He qualified in 1971 at Newcastle upon Tyne and completed a year as House Officer at the Newcastle upon Tyne Dental Hospital before moving into general practice. He was awarded, by election, to Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners of the UK (MFGDP, RCS) in 1992.
