Airforce kite school is not only one of the UKs oldest kiteschools but the North Wests first and still the best. It is testimony to the level of service we offer, that we have been successfully teaching people to kite safely since 2002. We do not take money up front you pay after the lesson and only pay for the hours we teach you. You can be safe in the knowledge you will not be paying us to sit you in a classroom and talk to you about what wetsuit to buy.

Although we started at Ainsdale which is a very nice friendly kitebeach. In 2008 we were fortunate enough to gain the exclusive licence for the wirral peninsular. This gives us five beaches to teach from that covers every wind direction apart from ESE. The conditions for TEACHING here are far superior as we have an abundance of knee to waist depth flat water lagoons which will drastically increase your learning curve, and give your lesson much more opportunity of going ahead. At Airforce kiteschool we only use fully qualified and the most professsional instructors at best locations, to make your introduction into this sport as safe as possible. It is a common misconception that this sport is difficult to learn. With the right tuition it is well within the grasp of a complete novice to be up and riding within 8-12 hrs. With our premium learning experience the group ratio will be a maximum of 4 students per instructor. INTRODUCTION TO KITEBOARDING - Includes, safety, equipment set up, understanding the wind and land based flying. WATER INTRODUCTION - Includes handling of a large kite, launching and landing and bodydraging through the water to simulate the movments of the kite once riding. WATER SKILLS - Includes advanced body draging, one handed bodydragging, water relaunch, self rescue and basic board skills BOARD START - Includes first board starts, first board ride and board control tips. ADVANCED RIDING - Includes riding with power, change of direction. Tips on riding up wind and how to hold an edge. We aim to get you up and riding on a board after a two day course but all lessons will be specifically tailored to the individuals ability and progression.
