WOODLANDS SCHOOL

·       Lunchtime clubs include dance, computers, sensory stories, PALS, beauty and German ·       Friday afternoon clubs run in the summer term these include gospel choir, sports and art. ·       After school clubs this year have included drama and golf. ·       Pupils participate in a range of inter school sporting events including, boccia, sports, swimming and wheelchair dance. ·       All pupils are involved in extended learning opportunities to enrich their learning including visits to museums, art galleries and theatres.  Regular use is made of local shops, supermarkets, cafes and sports facilities including swimming. ·       Pupils are encouraged to think about others and take part in a range of fund raising events such as Children in Need, Red Nose Day and Jeans for Genes. ·       A summer play scheme in held in school which is co-ordinated by social care. ·       The students in the FE unit have the opportunity to undertake supported work experience and attend courses at the local colleges.
