Short profile:
This year we have offered the following sports as extras either within the school day or after:Activate, Tennis, Table tennis, tag rugby, football, athletics, swimming, dance, African dance, gymnastics, basketball, high five netball and chess.
We have also offered:drama, sewing, knitting, African drumming, prayer, Religious teaching, ocarina, orchestra, violin and cello teaching for all year 3 and 4 pupils in addition to peripathetic lessons, a creative writing club and also a Science class.
Children have been involved in our annual sponsored walk, had French sessions, visited local and regional farms and zoos and all children were involved in their key stage's Christmas performance. All children have participated in our Church year events such as Harvest Festival, Easter Service and Christmas service. Children made Christingles at school for the service at the start of the Christmas break.
We have had a themed week each term - a Design week, a Science week (spies theme) and a One World theme. We have a link to a school in an urban area and sponsor a child in India. Children raise money regularly for a variety of charities eg a local pet rescue centre and Children in Need.
