Founded by partners Willis, Morris & Williams, Wil-Mor-Wil began providing a heating and plumbing service to residential customers in 1968. Its first registered office was one of the partners homes.

Their reputation grew quickly and by 1973 were able to purchase a new office in Bank Lane, Tredegar.
Central heating installations continued to fuel the company's success and by 1989 the partners also identified the need for a place where local trades could purchase boilers and parts. The company bought a larger premises and set up Wil-Mor-Wil’s first trade counter in that year - a service which continues to attract trade from a wide area.
The next ten years saw further growth and by 1999 the company was employing over twenty five full-time staff. A new building was also acquired which gave the company a two floor showroom, displaying fires and surrounds as well as retaining a trade counter and warehouse space.
The original partners had by now built up one of the most successful central heating businesses in South Wales with over thirty years experience and felt the time was right to move on to other things.
In August 2007 Wil-Mor-Wil relocated to its current, newly-built premises in Ebbw Vale. Their new headquarters now provides substantial warehousing combined with a new office complex, a trade counter and purpose built training facility. This has enabled the company to provide in-house training where health and safety advisors hold tool box talks on a daily basis. A range of central heating boilers are installed at the training facility which has proven invaluable in the development of fault diagnosis and repair standards and in keeping operatives’ technical knowledge and ability up to the minute. Further training is provided to all its apprentices as an extension to the experience gained by college attendance.
With a total staff of over seventy people and a fleet of over 40 vehicles, Wil-Mor-Wil is still a family run business priding itself on the highest quality of work, competitive prices and consistently friendly service.
Wil-Mor-Wil provides specialist energy efficient central heating installations, servicing and maintenance to a number of local authorities as well as the government funded Home Energy Efficiency Scheme in Wales - HEES Wales and in England - Warm Front.
Initially I thought they did a decent job, they were fairly fast and didn't bother me and the heating worked, even if they did take my old copper boiler without asking.
However when I used my now big cupboard without the old copper to store my hoover I was surprised to find it ruined and sloshing with water. I thought it was something I'd done and thought no more about it. Forward a few months and I realise that where they fitted the 'vent chimney thing' is leaking like a bitch. My cupboard is soaking and the boiler is covered in splashes.
I couldn't get in touch with them in time for the one year thing as both my parents became terminally ill and died within 13 days of each other so I was busy, and knocked for 6.
I will be trying to get some sense from them now and hope they will do the right thing.6 months ago#Shoddy workmanship #leaks

Bad after service
The initial installation was Good and all areas kept nice and clean and finished a full installation nice and quickly. However after service is non existant. First time trying to use the heating I found that I have 2 out of 9 radiators wont heat up, telephoned company and got to to receptionist only, and was toldby her, our company dont come out to bleed the radiators and you will have to do this your self, told the woman I have no key and she told me that was my problem, I told her I will report to british gas as that is who gave wil mor wil the contract, she said that wasnt her problem. I have now contacted British Gas awaiting their reply. I am very disapointed with the service from Wil Mor Wil dreading the 2yr warranty service to come that they say I have on my full central heating installation.08/10/2012#VERY POOR AFTER SERVICE BY WIL MOR WIL

Just had a service visit by another firms and they said installation is terrible . This was after a visit by Wil Mor Wil to check a fault when fella really couldnt be arsed. Said he'd get someone to call us, nothing heard for 3 weeks. Avoid09/05/2012#slapdash uncaring inefficient
