Opening Hours: Wednesdays at 6pm and Sunday at 1.30pm. The VYG network is worldwide, with chapters in more than 110 countries. Our programme is designed to cultivate young men and women of character who will work to make a difference in their generation.
Our mission is to start them on an exciting and successful life-long journey with God, and we do this in real and practical ways that are relevant to them. VYG's team of youth pastors are young men who have experienced-and overcome-many of the problems today's youth are facing: low self-esteem, peer pressure, addiction, abuse, family conflict, poverty and more.
Through our focus on faith, family, education, ministry and outreach, we teach young people how to develop a close relationship with God, and how to use their faith to achieve their full potential.
VYG leaders work to achieve positive results. Many parents report that they have seen their children change and mature as a result of their participation in the VYG. We are confident that you will see a positive change in your child too. Although your children will have plenty of fun at our meetings, we're here for much more than that. As adults, we recognise that many of the choices we made in our younger years played a big part in setting the course for the rest of our lives.
At the VYG, we offer a familiar, friendly environment where young people can receive practical, moral and ethical guidance-guidance that will help them to make the right choices in life. The VYG meets on Wednesdays at 6pm and on Sundays at 1.30pm. On Wednesdays, we have what we call "Real Talk" meetings. This is where we discuss relevant topics such as career, family, relationships, faith and more.
We also concentrate on developing their spiritual lives through practical biblical teaching and advice. Our Sunday meetings are packed with fun activities, ranging from sports competitions to drama and musical presentations. Each week, members work together in groups to prepare for Sunday's upcoming challenge.
