More and more people are becoming increasingly aware of the value of fire sprinkler systems which are widely installed in industrial, commercial, educational and residential properties and that such systems save life and protect property and the environment from the disastrous effects of fire. Growth is important to us and as part of our plan for the future we will be expanding the services that we currently offer to other fire protection systems, products and equipment. It is over 150 years since the first commercial sprinkler system was installed and over the intervening years they have proved themselves as an effective means of providing fire protection at all times of day or night. Fire Insurers, Fire Fighters and Building Control Officials have for many years realised the effectiveness of sprinklers when planned into the fire strategy for new builds and furthermore by the introduction of a fire sprinkler system there can be a “trade off” against fire resisting structural requirements, required under Approved Document ‘B’. Under fire conditions the system will detect the fire, can relay a signal to the fire service, immediately start to fight the fire and provide protection to the fire fighters who attend the incident. Fire sprinkler systems are a silent watchman ready to respond to that unwanted fire. U K Firewatch has trained service engineers who can undertake the regular service and maintenance visits. We carry an extensive range of spares and equipment to enable us to achieve the least possible disruption to our clients during our service visits. A 24 hour emergency service is available to our clients, when we will provide action or telephone support, 365 days per year.
