Detailed description:
The Old Market, Hove is a venue for the arts, education and the community and the home of The Hanover Band, an internationally acclaimed period instrument orchestra. The newly restored building was opened on the 19 May 1999 by the Duke of Kent, KG, Patron of The Hanover Band, when he unveiled a commemorative plaque in the auditorium celebrating the end of three years of restoration. A Grade II listed building, The Old Market stands in a part of Hove known as Brunswick Town which is an area of outstanding architectural heritage.
