The Meadow Steiner School in Somerset is part of a world wide network of more than 700 Waldorf Steiner Schools. The seeds of the school were sown by a small group of parents meeting regularly with their very young children to play in a meadow. One of these parents was inspired to train as a kindergarten teacher and in 1993 she opened our first kindergarten. The school has grown steadily and now offers Steiner education throughout the pre-school and primary age range. Our aim is to provide education up to the age of fourteen.
