Detailed description:

At Jewellery Workshop we offer a unique, personal and taylored experience with the aim to produce the perfect piece of bespoke jewellery. Below are details of the process plus examples of a range of bespoke jewellery projects we have completed. The first and probably most important stage in the bespoke jewellery process is the initial consultation between customer and one of our trained goldsmiths. Its important we listen to the customers ideas and then come up with the perfect solution. Consultations can be done over the telephone with materials sent on in the mail, however if you are able to visit in person we can show you your deign in a fully rendered 3D pictures and discuss face to face and examine any loose diamonds and gem stones. Once the ideas have been discussed its time for our skilled team to come up with the perfect design idea. For this stage we use CAD CAM which is a computer aided design tool specifically for bespoke jewellery production. The software allows us to turn your ideas into a 3D model, then we render a visual to illustrate exactly how the piece will look. This is then sent to the customer making sure its exactly how they visualise the bespoke jewellery piece. Once you are totally happy with the design our goldsmiths get to work on creating your special piece. They make a mould of the design, then wax inject it to create a casting. The casting is then fired overnight in the kiln then cast in the chosen metal. The final stage of the process is done by hand. Our specialist finishers will polish, set and mount any stone to piece of jewellery making it the unique piece you initially envisage. A customer contacted us with a unique idea for an engagement ring so with a consultation we began designing the ring. After producing a computer generated visual which the client checked we then made the wax model for the design. The ring was then cast then finished off by engraving and polishing before being presented to the client.
