THE GRIMSBY BAPTIST CHURCH

We are an evangelical church and believe that, through the scriptures, we have come to see our need for forgiveness, and have experienced God's love, made known to us in the Lord Jesus Christ. God's Word is central to all of our times of worship and each week we hold three different Sunday services.

Morning Worship - 9:30am: Traditional service with hymns, plus preaching that aims to bring the Bible to life. This is a quieter, more reflective service. Creche facilities are available for under 4's. Family Praise - 11:00am: Family-orientated service including lively songs in which all ages are present together for the first twenty minutes and, after this, the children and teenagers then have their own Junior Church teaching in age related groups. This service is more contemporary in style and uses a worship band and mostly modern songs with some of the best of the older hymns. The Junior Church is made up of several lively groups of different age groups ranging, from a creche, right the way up to older teenagers (ages 3 to 18). When the members of the Junior Church are at their meetings, there is a separate teaching for the other people in the service.
