SUNSHINE HEALTH SHOP

Sunshine has been promoting the natural health message in the Cotswold market town of Stroud for 80 years. The family owners for the last two decades have spent nearly 50 years in Naturopathic practice encouraging the principles of natural dietetics, herbal medicine and nutritional supplementation as a safe path to a healthier life.

There are currently three generations of the Hill family in the business – Ray, father, who trained in Nature Cure practice in the late 1950’s and has been in natural health practice and the health food industry ever since – Val, mother, who raised three healthy boys on a natural diet regime and alternative medicine – Andrew, the eldest, who for over 20 years has managed Sunshine Health Shop – Michael, who controls all the business administration – David, the youngest, has for some 15 years personally looked after the needs of our mail order customers and, since 1996, oversees and deals with our internet business – grandson, Stuart, has for the last 10 years, been baking daily a range of organic breads, cakes and savouries at our Sunshine Organic Bakery here in Stroud.
