I would like to say since this garden centre restaurant now under new management is exceptional the service would put some high class restaurants to shame the new chef is brilliant today i had an omelette you would think how simple not if you have had the dried up concoction I have had in the past it was on a par with any top chef please look past the decor which I must admit could do with an overall please try it it is worth a visit
We just love this place, & it's our regular Sunday treat! ... Even tho it's a bit of a drive from MK. There's always a lovely plant selection, as well as an indoor theme for summer or winter, ... A nice pet section with well cared for animals & a wonderful aviary... There are often bags of fresh grown veg for sale, with prices to beat any shops! I've been coming here for over 10yrs & recently the cafe has somewhat improved from what it used to be. Prices are good, portions are good, food always tastes home cooked, & the all round service, helpfulness & friendliness of staff is lovely.. It feels like home from home for me. ... Just needs some bud vases on the tables! (Shame they seem to have an ongoing problem with the plumbing in the toilets, which can become a bit whiffy,) but otherwise it's a lovely little trip out. Looking forward to many more happy visits. ¿¿
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Did not expect such an offensive after service. Items so poorly packed they were of no use on delivery. I took two photographs of the damaged boxes and Royal Mail returned the items immediately. Staples refused to refund as I hadn't removed each of the 70 plants from the box and photographed individually. Cannot advise more strongly against using this supplier.
A very well run garden center with a lot of plants i have never seen before & all looked very healthy. The cafe is very good value for money & food very well cooked. I live approx 35 miles away but will visit again.
I am horrified that after spending £46 on a pack of 480 led lights bought just 14 days ago they failed after 5 minutes. Returning them today the very officious manager refused to replace them as I could only produce the credit card receipt and not the till receipt. I wanted them replaced not refunded but I was very rudely told it was not company policy to do this without the receipt thrusting a hand written sign in my face. My statutory rights under the sale of goods act require I am offered a replacement as the goods were faulty. It is also against the law to display misleading notices that attempt to compromise my rights. I am prepared to pursue my legal rights
