Detailed description:
St. Catherine's curriculum offers a wide range of activities which we think helps to develop each individual child's academic, emotional, physical and spiritual needs. The curriculum is broad, rich and personalised.
Outside of the curriculum there are many extra curricular activities available, including: football, tag rugby, high five, cricket, cyber cafe and puzzle club. These activities run throughout the year at different times and ensure that there is something for everyone if they wish to be involved in after-school activity of different kinds.
Instrumental tuition is available to those pupils who wish to learn a musical instrument.
Children have the opportunity to take part in regular visits to places outside school, such as theatres, museums and educational centres. There is a residential visit for year 5 and 6 pupils to enable pupils to experience being away from home and with their peers in a different environment during their primary years.
The combination of a creative, rich and exciting school curriculum, care for the individual and a range of extra-curricular activities available, make our school one which we think we are proud of and one which is exciting to belong to!
