Short profile:
There is a wide range of lunchtime and after school clubs on offer including football & netball (boys and girls), French, knitting, choir, band, reading, Spanish, problem-solving. Currently we are setting up a gardening club and a Scrabble club with chess to follow. Parents run clubs as well as support staff, teachers and external providers. Our children have very busy lives and many participate in clubs ouside school e.g. ballet, drama, martial arts, swimming and diving, music tuition etc. We have established a Breakfast and a Wrap Around Club which offers parents the opportunity to bring their children to school at 7.45am and collect them at 6pm. There are 24 places available each day and all are currently filled. We achieved OFSTED registration earlier in the summer term ('07) and by September we hope to have increased the number of places to 32.
