At the heart of the English West Country, the busy market town of Chard plays host to one of the finest kitchen destinations in the UK. Spillers was founded by John Spiller in 1840 and became one of the Country’s first main Aga Cooker dealers in 1932. Six generations on, the legendary showrooms are now home to many of the world’s best loved appliances, offering visitors an unforgettable and unequalled kitchen experience.
See hundreds of fascinating kitchen products and appliances, that all too often stay locked and meaningless within the pages of a fancy brochure, come to life in our inspiring kitchen showrooms in Chard. It would be hopeless to try and explain the joys of cooking in a cast iron Aga oven, the advantages of a solid kitchen cabinet over a veneered one, the cavernous size of an American fridge - but see them with your own eyes, and before you know it... it all becomes refreshingly clear. Spillers can offer a comprehensive service for your Aga or Rayburn, to ensure it is kept in prime working order and continues to operate safely and efficiently.
It is recommended (as per manufacturer's guidelines) that an Oil Aga or Rayburn should be serviced every six months (certain Oil Rayburn models should be serviced annually), and a gas Aga or Rayburn should be serviced annually. If you own a 30 AMP Aga it is suggested that it is checked annually for electrical safety and operation. A 13 AMP Aga should be serviced every five years.
