You should make an appointment to see them for such matters as dressings, blood tests, travel advice, immunisations, ear syringing, dietary advice, cervical smears and contraceptive pill follow-up checks
Please make an appointment with the Practice Sister for travel immunisation, tetanus and influenza vaccinations.
Detailed description:
The Health Visitor runs clinics for childhood immunisation at the surgery at various times. We strongly recommend that children receive all routine immunisations.
Please make an appointment with a Practice nurse for travel immunisation, tetanus and influenza vaccinations.
Cervical Smears
This is a check to detect cancer at the neck of the womb, and could save your life. We strongly advise women to have their smear every 3 years, and to always find out their results. Make an appointment to see the Practice Sister who will do these tests during normal Surgery times.
