Anna smithAvoid at all costs. This woman is a con artist. She totally ruined the lead up to my wedding. After months of waiting for my wedding dress she finally phoned me to say it had arrived only for me to be presented with a dress in a bin liner...... Soon realised it was the display dress from her shop and not a brand new dress. It was dirty and ripped and she was going to charge me top price for this. I phoned the company my dress was from and my dress was still in the warehouse because she hadn't paid any money for it even though my mother had paid for it. Plus 1 week before my wedding I still didn't have my bridesmaid dresses so I had to order from the Internet as she couldn't complete my order. It didn't seem to bother her how much she had upset me. Do yourselves a favour ladies go to. A respectable retailer who will look after you.

CaityI had nothing but excellent service from Special Day Weddings. Perfect service from wonderful people who had the human touch and made everything about my wedding special.
The dress I bought was a pure delight, beautifully made and altered and from a designer wedding dress house. No hint of there being anything fake about it.
I cannot recommend Special Day Weddings enough, if you want that special touch on your special day. The owner even offered to come and lace my dress on my wedding day; you do not get that kind of service anywhere these days. Special Day is a perfect old-fashioned business with values to match.

Jenny123AWFUL ~ 3 bridesmaids dresses ordered on the 24th of May, 10 days before my wedding on the 15th Sept I was given copies of the designer dresses I ordered that were badly made with no lining, no beads, fraying seams and zips that were not fitted properly. Still fighting for my money back, had to rush to Cardiff to find replacement dresses days before my wedding. She also ruined my wedding dress, she is NOT a qualified seamstress and tried to alter my dress leaving one side longer than the other,and she hacked pieces off it, spent more money to get repairs done with a quilified seamstress who had to PATCH my wedding dress and sew beads back on and repair the damage she caused. Trading standards incolved as we are not the only ones this has happened to. The company will also be featured on the FERRET ITV wedding special in the next week, as other people have similar stories. STAY AWAY AVOID DONT LET HER RUIN YOUR WEDDING DAY!!

Iris Stevens I did not have an exact idea about what I wanted but the girls working there were nice enough to help me out with everything. I never had to worry about the prices, the clothes are affordable. I recommend this store because of the clothes, prices and services.
