We have worked hard to put in place a broad, creative curriculum to encourage our pupils to engage enthusiastically with  their learning. All year groups take part in educational visits or include outside  specialists to enhance pupils' understanding and enjoyment. We are fortunate that our site includes a strip of woodland tosupport Art and Science work and we have developed our environmental area to include a pond.
A wide range of school clubs exist including touch typing, library, art, maths, the environmental group, choir, recorders, percussion, guitar, school band, ukelele, netball, football, basketball and gymnastics.
Peripatetic teachers also come into school to provide individual instrumental teaching at KS2.For the last two years every child in our year 4 has benefitted from free instrumental tuition form Berkshire Maestros.Part of teachers release time for planning  is provided by sports coaches.
Additionally pupils in year 6 have the opportunity to attend an adventure based residential trip.
