I recently ordered a fire for my mother through one of the Sirocco retail distributors, we were promised a delivery which they were expecting in from Poland within 10 days, then another 10 days.. it finally turned up 6 weeks later!
Just my luck that now the fire has a faulty oxygen depletion valve (which means it is dangerous to use). I have been waiting for a support engineer from Sirocco for three weeks since the start of the new year.
From speaking to the staff at Sirocco I have found them to be rude and have the tendency to lie to cover up for their colleagues throughout this debacle. Not to mention having the phone slammed down on me.
Beware, they will ask you to call their technical helpline (£1 per min). This has cost me a small fortune in call charges already.
I have now decided to pull the plug on this amateur outfit and decided to buy a different gas fire from another manufacturer.
Their attitude has been very amateurish to say the least.
Avoid like the plague!!
