SILVERDALE HOTEL

Built in 1836 The Silverdale Hotel combines the character of an old building with the modern comforts you deserve. As a stockist of a range of premuim cask ales and a wonderful selection of fine wines we can offer suitable accompanyments to our range of traditional home prepered, locally sourced, great food. Whether that be from our main menu, our smaller portions menu (for those with less of an apetite), our lunchtime snack menu or our daily changing specials. The hotel is a great base for those wishing to take part in the many outdoor pursuits available :- Walking, golf, pony trekking, cycling and bird watching to name but a few. The hotel is situated within the Arnside & Silverdale Area of Oustanding Natural Beauty where there are many important and rare species of flora and fauna. Close by you will find the RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss, with its vast managed wetland habitat this is so important for some of the rarer birds.

Residents wishing to play golf at Silverdale Golf Club will be pleased to recieve a discount voucher for green fees on this challenging course. The Silverdale Hotel has plenty of areas for a relaxing meal or for a family group get-together. We are also proud of our popular quiet, "beer" garden. The function room is currently being refurbished but we can take bookings for any occasion, the function room is suitable for parties of up to seventy people and we can of course cater for anything from a finger buffet to full meals. Head Chef James is an ex Naval Chef and has created a very traditional home cooked menu. We purchase meat from known sources at quality local butchers. On the menu is something for everyone, lighter meals, hot sandwiches, baguettes, salads, starters, main courses and a varied specials board. Our quality bar meals are all under £10 with an inexpensive childrens menu. When it comes to catering for functions The Silverdale Hotel are taking bookings for the function room (up to 70 people) catering from a finger buffet to, whatever your requirements.
