Here at Sills & Betteridge we offer the full range of legal services to both private individuals and business clients across Lincolnshire and beyond. We provide advice in a genuine, straightforward manner. We take the time to understand your needs and we are careful to explain things to you to make the process of dealing with us smooth and uncomplicated. We are here to help you. We are one of the leading solicitors in Lincolnshire with offices in 8 locations across the county: Lincoln, Boston, Sleaford, Gainsborough, Spilsby, Spalding, Coningsby, Skegness. The recorded origins of Sills & Betteridge date back to 1759. In 2009 when the firm celebrated its 250th anniversary the partners and staff completed one hundred community based projects.
This initiative was to say thank you to the communities throughout our region that have supported the firm over the years. In the course of these years many changes have taken place through history, society and the law. The firm has survived and prospered during this time. The firm has grown significantly in recent times but especially over the past five years. This has been through consistent organic growth and through amalgamations with several long established Lincolnshire firms. These include Jebb & Tunnard in Boston, Godsons in Sleaford, Walkers Rainey & Owen in Spilsby, Thimblebys in Coningsby and Spilsby, Norman Green Solicitors in Skegness and Richard Tinn Solicitors in Boston.
The firm's head office has been at its current location in St Peters Churchyard, Silver Street, Lincoln since 1861. In the late 1990's the firm expanded into neighbouring offices in Aquis House, Clasketgate. It now occupies three floors of this office. The firm now has nine offices in eight Lincolnshire locations.
