Short profile:
We offer termly curriculum enrichment. This includes; whole school visits to the Paignton Zoo, Devon County Show, class visits to historic buildings, post office sorting centre, station, woods. the church and much more, to bring their projects alive.
We also bring in groups and individuals to offer the children breadth of opportunity. This includes; Storytellers, Roman centurians in character, soldiers to talk about their time in the War, theatre companies, artists, authors, doctors etc
We are part of the Local Schools Sports Partnership and all children get additional sporting opportunites for all abilities within the school and in partnership withour secondary colleagues. We have a school football and cross country team.
We are working with our secondary colleagues and County to offer French to all KS2 pupils this summer and beyond.
Our children have access to a wide range of after school and lunchtime clubs; they currently include, dance, drama, football, homework, singing, gardening, computer, animation club and cross country.
We have an annual upper juniors residential experience based at a multi-activity centre.
We take part in an annual art festival.
We take part in the local village shows
