Short profile:
Pupils are offered an impressive range of extra-curricular programs: performing arts activities including dance clubs for each Key Stage as well as a specialist boys’ dance club, and Street Dance, we also participate in the Jack Petchey Step Into Dance program; in Drama there are separate Key Stage clubs; in Music pupils benefit from a range of choirs, orchestras and bands; there are wide ranging sporting activities for all abilities and aptitudes, including opportunities for staff and pupils to develop together. There are also a range of opportunities in D&T, Art, ICT, Science, Maths and other subject areas.
The school's Sport program helps to promote inclusivity and participation. A full range of trips are offered; theatre and visits abroad which support the curriculum.
The school is a member of the Monks Orchard group of schools a 14-19 Partnership for Twilight KS4 courses. We are partnered with a number of educational institutions through our specialist status. This involves members as delegates on the Performing Arts Steering Group which develops a program of opportunities available to our students
The school has recently entered a Leading Edge group of schools to give students increased access to additional activities.
