Motor Sense was founded in 1988 for the specialist repair and maintenance of Citroen 2CVs. The company has grown and diversified.
Today Our team of technicians have years of experience working on a wide range of modern vehicles with a specialist knowledge of modern Citroen and Peugeot cars.
The second string to Motor Sense's bow is our motorcycle showroom with fully equipped workshop. We are main dealers for the Royal Enfield range of motorcycles.
Over the last year we have invested heavily in equipment and training to bring the workshop up to the high standard required to maintain and repair a wide range of modern cars. This equipment includes the latest Scanning technology that will connect to the vast majority of cars on the road today. The Scanner will investigate faults with the engine management system, ABS brakes, air bags, alarm systems etc.
Fixed price servicing is offered for all makes of cars and light vans.
Everyone who uses a vehicle
on the road must keep it in a roadworthy condition. The MOT test checks that vehicles meet road safety and environmental standards. The first MOT test for a vehicle is required when it's three years old. There are different rules if it's used as a taxi.
Your MOT certificate confirms that your vehicle, at the time of its test, without dismantling it, met the minimum acceptable and road safety standards required by law. It doesn't mean the vehicle is roadworthy for the life of the certificate and isn't a substitute for regular maintenance.
