Safeguard Security Services (Northern) Limited, hold SIA "Approved Contractor" status for the provision of Security Guarding and Keyholding services. Our Control Room is continually manned by a double team of operators who control and advise both Static Guards and Mobile Patrols, using our own radio network. With their experience, they are able to tackle most problems in the field of physical and electronic security. A member of management is available 24hrs per day to provide the additional expertise that is often required with the variety of services we offer, and to support the control team in any difficult situation.

Formed in 1968, Safeguard Security Services (Northern) Ltd is one of the longest established security organisations in the North East of England with over 40 years experience in the security industry. Our Static Officers are trained in all aspects of physical security with most emphasis being placed on the power of observation, continual alertness and the ability to report their findings. All incidents, whether occurring in a construction, industrial or an alarm response situation, are handled in accordance with the strict code of conduct as laid down by this company and in conjuction within the strict guidelines of the S.I.A. Any occurrences which have or may cause a breakdown in Security or Safety are reported in writing to a designated member of personnel for attention the following working day. If of a serious nature, incidents will be reported after appraisal by a member of management, to a designated out of hours representative of the client. A trained supervisor will assess each situation in the first instance and decide on the appropriate course of action.
