S. Stibbards & Sons Ltd are a truly independent family owned and run Funeral Directors and Monumental Masons who have been serving the communities of Southend, Castle Point and beyond for over 140 Years. The business was started by Samuel Stibbards in 1867 from premises close to what is now the company's head office in Hadleigh and is still wholly owned and run by his decendent's.

Over time and through the generations the company's aim to bring the very best in care and service to the communities it serves has led to the opening of four other offices in the local area, Leigh-on-sea, Canvey Island, Shoeburyness and most recently Hockley. Our dedicated team are here to help you through the difficult process of making funeral arrangements for your loved one, to provide a comforting and meaningful service that marks the passing of someone close to you.

Our wealth of experience, gained over 5 generations, will assist you with all the practical arrangements that have to be made as well as offering guidance on such matters as probate and the administration of the estate.
