The Roseland is an outstanding college. Since the last inspection when it was deemed good, it has made excellent progress under the very strong leadership of the headteacher and her senior leaders and managers. Self-evaluation procedures are rigorous. Their full focus is on providing equal opportunities for individual students.
The college equips students with the best possible social and academic skills necessary for them to meet the challenges of life after college. Partnerships with external agencies are outstanding. The range of expertise on the governing body has supported the rise in the college's achievement. A parent wrote, ‘I love the welcoming atmosphere in the college and the diverse ways it challenges students through extended learning tasks.' The success of present interventions on learning shows the college has outstanding capacity for sustained improvement.
