Short profile:
These activities have been well attended:- tennis, KS1 multi-skills club, rugby, basketball, choir, dance, street dance, karate, golf, cricket, chess, netball, gymnastics and football. Four recorder groups are in place. Children also can learn violin, cello, piano and woodwind instruments. The Church 'Aslan Club' is well attended.
Year 4 have a residential Activity Course every year in April to develop independence, perseverance, responsibility and teamwork. Drama and performance are encouraged throughout the school with major performances taking place at Christmas and in July. There are opportunities for pupils to perform at harvest, Christmas and Easter to the local elderly people as well as parents and carers.
Pupils have the opportunity to participate in many local sports activities with other schools in the North Bedfordshire Schools Trust. Special topic weeks extend and engage children. Year 3 and 4 children have 6 weeks of swimming lessons at Robinson Pool.
